A new, fully-searchable directory of freelance journalists has launched at Holdthefrontpage.co.uk.
Our established directory is being upgraded to allow commissioning editors to search by the freelance's name, their location or their speciality.
The new database, which is free to use, can be accessed here.
Entries cost £35+VAT for journalists and the fee keeps their entry up-to-date for a year.
Among the specialities covered so far are antiques, arts, building and architecture, business, careers, corporate, countryside matters, court reporting, education, entertainment, environment, family matters, features, film, health and lifestyle, Internet, music, parenting, proof-reading, publishing, sex and relationships, tourism, TV, and women's issues.
Entries are also being taken from photographers, photojournalists, and sub-editors, who are represented in the directory.

Our old directory is still available to view.
