Life as a reporter can often take you to strange and sometimes dangerous places - as Catherine Courtenay found when she had to conduct an interview surrounded by wolves.
The North Devon Journal reporter was sent to meet international wolf behavioural analyst Shaun Ellis who is currently conducting a study at a local wildlife park.
And when she was greeted by Shaun and his wife Jan, the pair invited Catherine to meet two of the wolves 'in person' - in the enclosure.

Shaun and Catherine get close to the wolves
There the intrepid reporter spent 25 minutes talking to Shaun and his wife, and getting to know more about the wolves.
Catherine said: "When myself and the photographer got there they told us to come and sit with them, and before I knew what was happening I was in the enclosure.
"I didn't really think about it at the time and had no worries - it wasn't until afterwards that it dawned on me that it's not really something you do every day.
"It was very quiet. We all had to stand up and sit down at the same time so as not to alarm them and took advice from Shaun.
"The wolves kept circling us and running up and down, which was apparently because they were nervous.
"Shaun and Jan said the wolves might come up to us to investigate and I was quite sad that they didn't.
"I could have sat there all afternoon and would love to go back."
