Readers have a chance to meet the editor of the Somerset Standard this week at the first of a series of editorial surgeries.
Editor Joanna Roughton, news editor Phil Chamberlain and reporter Aliya Frostick will be available to meet readers and answer questions about the paper at the event on Thursday.
The trio will be taking time out of the office to talk through issues that locals believe they should pursue, look at stories they want published and to receive feedback on what the paper already says and does in the area.
The meeting is the first in a series at the town's library, giving residents the chance to get closer to the newspaper.
