The Media Society is to hold debates at all three major Party Conferences later this year.
Chaired by president Richard Lindley, the Society, which brings together people working in all branches of the media, will debate the proposal 'Relations between politicians and the media are bad - and should be worse'.
A host of high-profile MPs and journalists will make up the panel at the three events, including Catherine MacLeod, political editor of The Herald in Glasgow, and Anne McElvoy, the executive editor of the Evening Standard.
The free events will be at the Liberal Democrat Conference in Brighton on September 23, the Labour Conference in Bournemouth on October 1 and at the Conservative Conference in Blackpool on October 8.
