Copies of the Western Daily Press were printed at Northcliffe's Staverton printworks in Gloucestershire after an explosion in a generator caused a power cut at its Bristol headquarters.
Staff were evacuated from the multi-storey building, which also houses staff from the Bristol Evening Post, in the early hours of yesterday.
Fire crews were called to the scene and staff returned to work when it was established that premises were safe.
The production schedule for the Evening Post later yesterday was unaffected.
