Daredevil Craig spends time hanging around...

Daredevil Extra reporter Craig Davidson's latest exploit has seen him do a freefall abseil from the Finnieston Crane on the River Clyde in Glasgow.

Craig visited the crane for the second time to join five others for a freefall abseil to raise money for the ACCORD Hospice.

Last time Craig was at the site on the banks of the Clyde it was to zip-slide across - but this time around his descent was slightly more dramatic - straight down!

Craig said: "It was very exciting. I had thought that the zip-slide would have been more nerve-racking than abseiling down, but when you have to climb over the railings and wait to go, it is really quite frightening.

"I was surprised by how fast you can come down - at one point I overtook one of the other abseilers.

"It was a beautiful day which made it so much nicer as last time there was torrential rail, thunder and lightening."

Craig raised more than £200 in sponsorship for the ACCORD Hospice.
