A seminar centred around changes in local and central government is to be held on September 12.

The seminar, from the Local Government Association, is for those involved in journalism training and management who are concerned about changes in government policy at local and central level.

Topics highlighted for talks by guest speakers include the NHS, freedom of information and the European Union.

There will also be an open forum discussion where suggested topics will be welcomed.

Accommodation for the seminar will also be provided by the LGA and inquiries on costs and the event itself should be forwarded to Karen Graham, at the National Council for the Training of Journalists on 01279 430009.
