Shots fired at Telegraph window

Police are appealing for witnesses after shots were fired through a window at the Coventry Evening Telegraph in the middle of the night.

No one was hurt in the incident, in which a man fired two shots through a small meshed window at the city centre offices in Upper Well Street.

It happened between 1.10am and 1.20am on Wednesday.

Police have a description of the gunman and say the incident was "extremely serious".
