Newspaperman scoops £250,000 on Millionaire

Newspaper quiz compiler Bob Ginger has scooped £250,000 on TV's Who Wants to be a Millionaire?

Bob, (36), who writes the crosswords for the Bucks Free Press, says the win is the greatest achievement of his life - but the money will not change him.

During the tense show he managed to answer 13 questions correctly with the help of his lifelines, but got stumped on question 14, when asked what Joan Collins' middle name was.

Bob decided he had no idea and took the money.

He said: "I am extremely pleased and I feel a bit overwhelmed about winning the money. It still seems a bit like a dream.

"It is not going to change me as a person I am not going to start eating smoked salmon and drinking champagne, I am a pub and chip shop sort of bloke.

"I think it is sinking in a bit but as far as changing my life I am quite a level-headed sort of person and I think I will stay simple and boring."

  • Bob should have answered: "Henrietta".
