Mail reporters show off their singing 'talents'

The tables were turned on two Hull Daily Mail reporters, who have been judging the paper's annual talent contest, when the pair decided to take to the stage themselves.

For the past two months Jessica Boulton and Kelly Todd have been casting an eye over the brave acts taking part in the paper's Talent Trail 2003.

  • But after being challenged to pick up the microphone themselves, the pair decided to show off their own vocal talents, and raise money for Comic Relief at the same time.

After hours of deliberation, trying to find the perfect song, they chose Shania Twain and 'Don't Impress Me Much'.

And dressed in leather and red wigs, the pair rocked the stage - although some would say the choice of song proved rather apt.

Kelly, (18), said: "It was such a laugh, but we were awful."

However, despite their performance, the duo helped raise £100 for Comic Relief.
