New look for Chron supplement

Changes are being planned to give the Newcastle Evening Chronicle's motoring and entertainment supplements a brand new look.

On Friday, the popular motoring supplement will be re-launched in an easier to read tabloid format.

The new Motors section will include car tests, motors news and features, classic cars and motoring quizzes.

And to coincide with this, one lucky Evening Chronicle reader will have the chance to win a Ford Ka.

The entertainments supplement is being re-named What's On and from this week will come free with Friday's Evening Chronicle.

It will contain full listings, reviews, previews, fun features, competitions, offers and the latest news on what's on in the Tyneside area.

There will also be the opportunity for a reader to win their ultimate date, worth up to £5,000.

The changes have been made to help create a modern, easier to handle Evening Chronicle, designed to appeal to both readers and advertisers.
