Two lots of strike action by journalists over their pay look set to resume in the next few days.
National union of Journalists members at the Bradford Telegraph & Argus and its associated newspapers, owned by Newsquest, are due to walk out on Friday for ten days in pursuit of their pay claim.
They will be back at work on Monday, March 24.
An NUJ spokesman said: "The company has not improved its below-inflation two per cent pay offer.
"Graduate trainees are on as little as £12,000 and qualified senior journalists on just £15,000. On the daily Telegraph and Argus there are journalists with 30 years service on less than £20,000 per annum."
Meanwhile, NUJ journalists at the Kendal-based Westmoreland Gazette - also owned by Newsquest - have voted to strike and are set to walk out from Tuesday, March 18 to Friday March 21.
They are also seeking an improved pay offer from the company.
Both centres were targeted by strike action last month, but all their newspapers and editions were published as normal, according to the company.
NUJ members at the Birmingham Post and Mail and Coventry Newspapers - including the Coventry Evening Telegraph - will strike on Friday March 14 over the decision of their parent company Trinity Mirror to close the final salary pension to new members. In Birmingham the strike will last all day. In Coventry the walkout is from 8am until noon.
