Former Cambridge city mayor Chris Larkin has received a pictorial account of his mayoral year from the Cambridge Evening News.
He received the album, which contains a collection of photographs chartinig the mayor's engagements, from editor Colin Grant, who said: "As the newspaper group for the city, we are delighted to give all outgoing mayors this special photographic memory of their year in office."


The Countess of Wessex has visited the offices of the South Wales Echo.
She was shown around the editorial and production departments and also chatted with Echo editor Alastair Milburn and Western Mail managing director Keith Dye.


Generous Lincolnshire Echo readers have donated £1,725 towards ground-breaking cancer research.

Readers of the Epsom & Banstead Guardian have helped save an animal rescue centre that was facing financial ruin after it received a huge vet's bill for a sick rabbit.
The entire monthly vets budget for Bobtails, a rabbit and guinea pig rescue centre, was swallowed up when an unexpected bill for £600, for emergency treatment on a rabbit, arrived.
But the future of the centre is now safe after readers rallied round to raise £435.


Former James Bond star Roger Moore has thanked York Evening Press readers for raising more than £5,000 to help millions of starving children in southern Africa.
The paper teamed up with Unicef to launch a campaign for those affected by the famine and a total of £5,277 was collected.
The actor, who visited Zambia to see the devastation first hand said: "I'd like to personally thank the Evening Press and all its readers for their kind donations and support."
