Staff at the Evening Chronicle have celebrated Newcastle United's last-gasp entry into the second stages of the Champions League by producing a special souvenir issue.
No sooner had the cheers died down after Craig Bellamy's last minute winner in Holland than the Chronicle's sports team was planning the 48-page special, produced in time for United's first game against Inter Milan on November 27.

The special commemorative publication include interviews with the chairman, players and staff, together with a full rundown on Champions League stage two, profiles on Newcastle's opponents, good luck text messages from fans and a nostalgic look back to former European matches.
Chronicle editor Paul Robertson said: "It was a tremendous effort by the team to pull this together so quickly on top of the day job.
"The city is buzzing after what was the most incredible comeback in Champions League history and we wanted to reflect that.
"Newcastle have beaten Inter Milan and Barcelona in Europe before so we are hoping history repeats itself."
