Footballers' farewell to Kevin

A minute's silence was held before a Galloping Gweilos football team match in Hong Kong following the death of one of its players, former Sheffield Newspapers journalist Kevin Faure.

He had played for the team for six years, moving to Hong Kong to work for Cathay Pacific.

Kevin, (44), had worked as a reporter on the Sheffield Telegraph sports desk before transferring to the Sheffield Star.

He covered football and golf before quitting the UK for the Far East.

Team-mate Glenn O'Neill, said: "He had many friends within the Hong Kong football community, and will be missed by many."
