The best in British and international journalism will be honoured this month at The Foreign Press Association Media Awards 2002 - with competition especially fierce among a record-breaking number of nominations.
The eight journalistic categories, which have attracted 180 entries, are: Journalist of the Year; Financial/Economic Story of the Year; Foreign Story of the Year; TV Story of the Year; Travel Story of the Year; Environmental Story of the Year; Young Journalist of the Year; and UK Story of the Year by a Foreign Correspondent based in Britain.
The winners will be announced in London on November 26 at an event hosted by Clive Anderson.
