The Bucks Herald in Aylesbury has launched a new monthly magazine for women.

BH The Magazine is a 52-page Sunday supplement-style magazine packed with features on fashion, health, hair and beauty, competitions and horoscopes combined with Real Lives interviews, gift guides and hard news features.

Launched in last week's paper, BH has met with a positive response from readers.

Editor-in-chief David Summers said: "BH has been a really exciting project for everyone involved, and a very ambitious one.

"We decided that we had been doing supplements such as Homes And Gardens, Country Style and Time Of Your Life for far too long.

"We all needed something new to get excited about, and this was definitely it. And what's been great is the response from our readers - they loved it and couldn't believe they were getting something of this quality free in their local paper.

"The secret to the success of BH, I believe, was the way in which advertising and editorial worked hand-in-hand to ensure that the magazine was a great product."
