Regional newspaper publisher Newsquest has launched a new weekly property guide into London with plans for more to follow.

Homes & Lettings complements the market-leading positions of many of Newsquest's weekly papers in and around the capital.

The first 92-page issue offered thousands of homes for sale or rent around north and east London and West Essex.

Newsquest says other editions will soon follow covering north and west London, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire; south-east London and north Kent; south-west London and Surrey and south London.

Roger Mills, managing director at Newsquest (London), said: "Many of our papers in London are market leaders in property advertising but there was a clear gap in the market for readers who wanted to move into the capital from outside or move beyond the boundaries of their local paper.

"Homes & Lettings fills that gap and has been enthusiastically embraced by estate agents who can now benefit from our local advertising, regional advertising and, via our websites, our national and international advertising."

Homes & Lettings is published every Saturday and costs £2.

Newsquest is the UK's second largest regional publisher with more than 300 titles, including 15 dailies, a weekly circulation/distribution of 10.6m copies and 10 print sites.
