A new-look Huddersfield Daily Examiner will be unveiled to its readers on Monday.
Changes have been made to the design and content of the paper, which will see a slightly sharper masthead and a host of new features.
Such is the paper's commitment to bringing more news than ever before, it is even reducing the font size of the body type so that it can fit more on every page.
The new look follows weeks of planning by staff and will see new editor Roy Wright officially put his stamp on the paper after taking over from John Williams in August.
How the new Examiner will look During a review of the Trinity Mirror title readers were consulted using a questionnaire that asked for their thoughts on the content of the paper and staff were also invited to give their input.
The paper is one of the few remaining regional broadsheets in the UK.
The revamped Examiner will now include a new shopping page looking at the best bargains from the local shops, a look at university life through the eyes of a student and the usual weekend sports coverage on a Monday.
On Tuesdays there will be DIY and gardening tips and a guide to interior design, while Wednesday will see financial advice and quick tips on health, diet and fitness.
Thursday's edition of the paper will now include human interest stories about local women as well as the usual property guide; Fridays will be the home of a motoring supplement and entertainment guide, including interviews and a new restaurant review; and Saturdays will see a new column aimed at the hobbies and interests of the senior generation, a two-page holiday section and a walking and books guide.
