An old newspaper building has been restored to its former glory in a multi-million pound refit.
The former Evening World offices in Bristol have been renamed Colston 33 and is now an office building complete with restored Art Deco features.
Northcliffe House on Colston Avenue was built by the Evening World's parent company, which now owns the Evening Post. It dates from a time when three evening newspapers battled for readers in the city.
It was one of the first office blocks to be extensively air-conditioned.
Five printing presses in the basement turned out 36,000 copies of the Evening World each hour.Northcliffe House was badly damaged by Luftwaffe bombs in 1941 and some editions had to be printed by the Evening Post press.
The building was used by a range of firms after the Evening World closed in 1962, with the old press hall used as a car park.
