Journalists in the regional press are being invited to take part in a survey on how they report environmental issues.
The survey, from a researcher at the sociology department of the University of Plymouth, is designed to be completed by any journalist who covers these issues either as a specialist or general reporter.
It is an update of earlier research published in 1997 in the form of a book Media, Culture and the Environment.
Senior lecturer Dr Alison Anderson said: "I am investigating journalistic practices and the reporting of environmental issues.
"The survey has been designed to be completed quickly and should take a maximum of 10 minutes.
"All questionnaire responses will be strictly confidential, anonymous and only used for the purposes of academic research. Thank you in advance for your participation."
