The Newcastle Journal has published a new glossy guide for all its information-hungry readers.

The 144-page eating out guide features more than 150 reviews of restaurants in Tyne and Wear, County Durham, Northumberland and Tees Valley.

Giving an insight into a wide selection of restaurants, from Italian, to Greek and Chinese, each review gives details of the range of food, quality of service and average price of a meal.

Published by the Journal, the guide has been part funded by development agency One NorthEast and the Countryside Agency, and is supported by Northumbria Tourist Board.

Priced at £3.50, it is available from the Journal on 0191 201 6000 or from local Tourist Information Centres.
