Sarah's tall challenge

Reporter Sarah Lupton is preparing to abseil down Hull College to raise money for charity.

The Hull Daily Mail reporter will take part in the 100ft abseil on June 22 to raise funds for KIDS - a charity which works with children with special needs across Hull and the East Riding.

Sarah, who has already undergone a training session at an indoor climbing centre, said: "I have never really had a head for heights, but KIDS is such a good cause I decided I had to give the abseil a go.

"Having spoken to some of the families who have received support from KIDS, I know just how vital the charity is to thousands of people."

The abseil is part of a series of fund-raising events being organised by KIDS, which hopes to raise £100,000.

The charity plans to use the money raised to relocate to a 14-bedroom house, which will mean it can offer more services and assist more children with learning difficulties and their families.
