Editors meet PM

A group of daily newspaper editors from newspaper group Archant have met Prime Minister Tony Blair.

Editors Terry Hunt, from the East Anglian Daily Times; Nigel Pickover from the Evening Star, Ipswich; and David Bourn from the Evening News, Norwich, met the Prime Minister along with Eastern Daily Press deputy editor, James Ruddy.

The four men spent half an hour talking to Mr Blair during a whistle-stop tour of East Anglia, and discussed a wide range of regional issues.

Although the chat was strictly off the record, topics included the health service, transport, crime, drug abuse - and football!
