Turned-on for the World Cup?

Reporters at Medway Today and Medway Messenger were pleased to know that their boss has made provisions for the World Cup.

Editor Bob Dimond said: "As a huge football fan myself there's nothing I want more than to watch the World Cup.

"We will be asking our staff to let us know if there are any particular matches they want to watch and give them the opportunity to adjust their working to fit in with the games.

"As long as they work hard in making sure we produce a top quality paper each day."

Andrew Ramsbottom, a reporter at the paper, said: "This is great news. I have already drawn up a list of the 64 games I would like to watch."
