The Lincolnshire Echo is launching a new book to celebrate the Queen's Golden Jubilee, depicting the first 50 years of Her Majesty's reign.
The book, Elizabethan Lincoln, 50 Golden Years, 1952 - 2002, will include pictures from the Echo archives capturing the atmosphere of one of the fastest-changing eras in history.
Taken by Echo photographers during the past half-century, the provocative photos are intended to create a feeling of nostalgia for those who remember the occasions pictured and show others what they have missed.
It will be a lasting souvenir incorporating reader memories of the Queen's first 50 years on the throne, and the Echo is appealling for local contributions.
The book to be published in a few weeks will be on sale at £9.95.
