An Arsenal fan who has followed the Gunners every step of the way along their FA cup trail had to miss Saturday's final - because of a mix-up at the Football Association.

Ham & High sports editor Richard Clarke asked his friend - and fellow Arsenal supporter - to arrange his wedding to specifically avoid the big day on the field, quietly confident that Arsene Wenger's team would get through.

But then the FA rearranged the date, which left both of them reeling.

Despite being sick as a parrot over missing the game, he's over the moon at the result and plans to spend another season travelling with the Gunners across Europe.
