Before I had chance to draw my gaze from the little black number which had caught my eye I was whisked into the Personal Shopper Suite.
There, over a cup of tea, Kay explained that there was no obligation to buy - the service was there to assist shoppers who could accompany them around the store or relax in the suite while the items were selected.
I had chosen two completely different looks.
The first - an outfit for a chilly afternoon spent huddled in the terraces at Home Park.
The second - a glamorous look for a night out at a dinner and dance.
With a confident nod from Kay and Kate, we charged onto the shop floor.
"Any colours you aren't particularly keen on," Kate asked.
"Not too sure about red," I replied.
"What about raspberry," Kay suggested.

"Quite a few people have decided on colours and styles which they would not usually have tried," Kay said.
First off the rails - a raspberry and blue jacket with inner fleece.
"What about some dark blue trousers?" Kate asked, holding up a pair against my legs.
"A bit short?" I questioned.
Instead, we opted for a pair of longer-length Levi jeans.
With two polo tops to finish off, I was ready to move on.
Now, things were really starting to hot up.
