Sounds like Devon!

A web initiative from the North Devon Gazette and Advertiser has been music to the ears of local bands.

The paper's new website www.northdevongazette.co.uk features a Sounds of North Devon page on which visitors can listen to the latest releases from the region's up and coming musicians.

  • Sounds like Devon…
  • The idea for the page came from editor Dave Tanner who wanted to give local bands a wider potential audience.

He said: "A lot of people in North Devon make their own music and this is one way they can get their music more widely known, by being able to present it to people all around the world on MP3 format."

Musicians are now queuing up to star on the page which features biogs and pictures of the artists.
