The Scunthorpe Evening Telegraph's Beehive Community Network has published its 100th site.
The Summer Starz Lifestyle Project, a team of five school friends, won a £20 prize for becoming the 100th site on the Scunthorpe Beehive - and promptly spent it on gifts for young patients on Scunthorpe General Hospital's Disney Ward.
The group has spent the summer holiday producing a weekly magazine for the children on the ward to entertain them while they are in hospital.
Team leader Rachael said: "We have used the prize to buy quiz and colouring books to help the patients pass the time."
Evening Telegraph Community Publishing co-ordinator, Gordon Wilson, said: "We like to recognise landmark sites and there is a special pleasure in rewarding a group like this that deserves every credit for the wonderful work they have done for youngsters unfortunate enough to be spending their school holiday in hospital.
"We are delighted that the girls have selflessly donated this prize to the Disney Ward.
"The Summer Starz site continues the rich tradition of imaginative and innovative use of the Beehive."
