The Derbyshire Beehive Community Network has published its 500th site - the beehive
site of hope.
The site has been created as a tribute to all those affected by the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Centre and the Pentagon on September 11.
The site features an online book of condolence where people can share their thoughts, messages and prayers.
It also gives information about how people can play their part in helping those in need, along with the real life stories and experiences of local people who have been affected.
Community Publishing Manager Bimmy Rai said: "In a time where people come together in grief and hope to pay their respect and thoughts for the many thousand of innocent lives lost, I would like to dedicate this online book of condolences to the victims, survivors, their families and to the bravery of all those people involved in the help and rescue mission.
"Let this online book of condolences be a virtual place to share your thoughts, messages and prayers at this time, and let it stand as a record for future generations, lest we forget."
