The Hull Daily Mail's Beehive Community Network now has more than 500 sites - making it the country's biggest.
The Beehive, part of the Mail's website, gives non-profit organisations with no in-depth knowledge of the World Wide Web the chance to get their web pages online free of charge.
The sites, which are easy to set up and amend, have been a hit with organisations including schools, sports teams, religious groups and theatre groups.
The Mail's Beehive, which was launched 15 months ago, is now so popular that it receives about 75,000 impressions every month.
Community publishing manager Chris Warkup said: "We are delighted by the continued development of the Beehive.
"On average we are gaining 10 new sites a week. There are 21 regional Beehive sites and we have the greatest number of visitors and the most sites - more than anywhere else in Britain."
The Beehive will also see a major software upgrade in the autumn which will offer more advanced user opportunities for greater creativity.
Mr Warkup said: "Previously members were limited to six photos of only 200 pixels. Now the size of pictures has doubled to 400 by 400 pixels.
"We also have photo albums. These allow 10 pictures per gallery and up to 10 galleries.
"These are exciting times for the 500 groups and organisations which use the Beehive."
