The Bournemouth Daily Echo has launched a new weekly supplement offering readers an A to Z of its circulation area.

Down Your Way, an eight-page supplement which will be free with the Echo every Tuesday, will offer an insight into Dorset and Hampshire life.

Echo researchers have been scouring local villages, suburbs and towns for interesting details about their patches, and the paper guarantees to tell its readers something they didn't know about their area.

Ghost stories, strange tales, unusual buildings and fascinating local characters will all feature in the supplement, which will run each week until the end of the year.
