A re-launch of the Norwich Evening News has been declared a huge success.
Researchers from the paper conducted a survey out on the streets of Norwich to find out what people thought of the new look - and a resounding 93 per cent of those questioned gave it a thumbs-up.
As part of the re-launch the paper introduced new supplements, such as Family Extra, and has also taken a harder hitting editorial stance.
Recent campaigns by the paper, such as the fights to save the city's conker trees, the Shop a Pusher campaign and the Bin the Blades knife amnesty have all received national and regional acclaim.
Evening News editor David Bourn said: "We are thrilled that people seem to like the changes we have put in place.
"When asked to choose words to sum up the Evening News, a massive 47 per cent of people went for 'value for money' and that is very encouraging.
"The changes we have introduced mean that there is more local news than ever in the paper and the research reflects that."
