Myleene grants paper's wish

A youngster recovering from brain surgery has enjoyed a "fix-it" by his local paper - with a visit from pop idol Myleene from Hear'Say.

The Norwich Evening News told the chart-topping star how much nine-year-old Jack Royall wanted to meet her.

And the paper fixed up the meeting in McDonald's in Great Yarmouth, while Myleene was on a flying visit to her home county.

The lad's joy was complete when she handed him an exclusive signed copy of the group's latest single.

The pair had already struck up a friendship over the phone when Myleene called him soon after the News told her about his brave fight against a rare illness, having suffered a tumour in his brain.
