A former political correspondent on a westcountry newspaper has died aged 73.
Peter Vince, formerly of the Herald Express, had suffered a long illness.
He covered parliamentary business in the House of Commons until his retirement eight years ago.
Peter was the eldest of four brothers and had a long and distinguished career in journalism, writing on political affairs for several south west regional newspapers in the Northcliffe group.
His funeral was held on Wednesday in London.
