Central Independent Newspapers have unveiled a new assistant managing director.

Wendy Carter, (34), former advertising director for the company, has been promoted with immediate effect.

Wendy is looking forward to her new role, and said: "I am very proud of CIN and all the staff who have made such great strides together to produce record-breaking award-winning newspapers.

"Many exciting challenges now lie ahead for further development of these respected titles and I am looking forward to being at the heart of that expansion."

Wendy joined CIN three years ago after previously spending a number of years working in senior management roles within the regional newspaper industry.
