Reward on offer after horror beating

The Western Daily Press is offering a £500 reward for information leading to the conviction of the person who carried out an attack on an 87-year-old in her own bedroom.

Margaret Bosley was horrifically assaulted with a weapon while she was sleeping.

The police are collecting details of the incident in Milton Road, Weston-Super-Mare.

And the Daily Press is stepping up the hunt with a reward of £500 for anyone with new facts that may lead police to the culprit.

The attack left the pensioner with a broken nose and widespread bruising to her face and body. She also needed several stitches to a gash in her head.

Two doors were forced to get into her home at Weston-super-Mare in a crime that has shocked local officers.

The police are asking people with information to ring the Western Daily Press newsdesk on 0117 934 3223.
