An Aylesbury family is to spend Christmas under the spotlight - in a high-tech venture from The Bucks Herald.
The Ball family has won the chance to appear "live" on the Internet via a webcam through the newspaper's site for 51 hours over Christmas.
In an echo of Big Brother, their every move will be under close scrutiny as people all over the world peer into their lives and tune in to their antics.
They beat off competition from other entrants for the unusual honour, and will be awarded a surprise prize for their efforts.
Acting editor David Feldstein told HoldtheFrontPage: "We had to have the right sort of people - they are the perfect family for this.
"We've featured quite a lot about them in the paper and on our website this week ready for their 51 hours of fame.
"They will be on view from 9pm on Christmas Eve through to Midnight on Boxing Day and they're really up for it!"
The family comprises Claire Ball and her husband Dean, along with their children Tom (six) and Becky (five). Claire's parents and two brothers, along with their two children - as well as the neighbours - are all expected to make an appearance.
