HoldtheFrontPage is among the nominees for The Newspaper Society's New MediaAwards.
The awards are to be presented after the society's New Media Conference 2000on Tuesday.
The awards are new this year and recognise the contribution that digitalpublishing is now making to the UK's regional press.
There are 10 categories, all of which have detailed criteria for entry.
The categories include best e-commerce service, best online communityservice, best promotion of an online service, internet site of the year anda special award for innovation in digital publishing.
