Work experience "boy" starts an Internet company

A former Hayle schoolboy, who enjoyed work experience at The Cornishman newspaper, has started up his own Internet business.

Ian Renfree, who recently graduated from the University of Exeter, has launched the company - ExeNet - with two fellow students.

The business offers services and advice to companies in the Westcountry who want a presence on the Internet.

Ian said his work experience at the weekly newspaper - and on the Young Enterprise scheme at his school - was invaluable organisational and business experience.
