Super sailor Pete Goss can rely on the Herald Express for more support as he relaunches his revolutionary £4.5 million yacht - Team Philips.
A four-page pull-out in the Torquay-based paper marked the occasion as the giant racing catamaran inched back into the river Dart in front of more than 10,000 spectators in Totnes.
This week she was going out to sea for the first time since a 45-foot section of her bow broke off near the Scilly Isles during sea trials earlier this year.
Team Philips has been built to win The Race, a non-stop round-the-world yacht race starting from Barcelona on December 31, 2000.
Readers can also follow the progress of Team Philips on the Herald Express's own website.
Pete Goss is on record as describing the Herald Express's "extensive coverage" of the Goss Challenge as "brilliant".
