For the first time, Darlington & Stockton Times staff filed copy live to their new website dedicated to the Market Town Revival campaign.

The occasion was a two-day Action for Market Towns convention held in Ripon at the weekend.

The Darlington & Stockton Times has been campaigning in support of smaller shopping centres for several months.

They want to support market towns against the threat of outlying hypermarkets.

Reporters, based at Ripon Leisure Centre, filed copy and updated the news at it happened.
