Cornwall Today prepares for tomorrow

The county magazine for Cornwall is laying foundations for the future with a revamp and a new editor.

Cornwall Today has been redesigned, is printed on better-quality paper and is also more glossy than before.

Steve Bough, of the website This is Cornwall, has been appointed editor and the magazine's base has moved from the offices of The Cornishman newspaper in Penzance to Truro.

Steve told his readers: "We want to make Cornwall Today even more of a quality coffee table magazine and will offer a variety of articles focusing on all areas of Cornwall and all walks of life."

The August edition carries an exclusive interview with television presenter Hugh Scully, a history piece on Cornish engineer Richard Trevithick plus a feature on the mystery of strange lights in the sky over Cornwall.
