Former Falkirk reporter creates newspaper website

Adrian Mahoney, who spent 10 years on the Falkirk Herald - six of them as chief reporter - is behind a media website giving links to news, weather, sports, TV and movie sites.

Adrian (31), was involved in a partial re-design of the Falkirk newspaper and was enlisted to design and edit its 150th anniversary supplement.

During 1996 and 1997 he also worked as a casual news sub-editor on The Daily Record, Glasgow.

He left Falkirk in 1997 to join Scottish Homes, the Government-funded national housing agency as a communications officer and last year he joined public relations consultancy The Business as an account manager.

He now runs his own PR and media consultancy.
