New editor at Blackburn

The Lancashire Evening Telegraph has a new editor.

Kevin Young took up his post yesterday at the Blackburn-based Newsquest title. He was formerly deputy editor of Newsquest's Telegraph & Argus, Bradford, and succeeds Peter Butterfield at the Telegraph.

Mr Butterfield retired last week, having edited the paper for 15 years.
