Regional sports reporters are being given the opportunity to quiz leading British Olympic officials at two special lunches organised by the Sports Journalists Association.

At the first event, on Thursday, June 26, British Cycling performance director Dave Brailsford will be on hand to answer journalists' questions.

Then, on Wednesday July 23, with the 2008 Games less than a month away, the British Olympic Association's Lord Moynihan will be available to discuss Team GB's prospects in Beijing and in London four years later.

Jeffrey Archer is backing journalist Adrian Sudbury's campaign to have a lesson about bone marrow donation added to the national curriculum for sixth formers. Lord Archer has signed a petition on the Downing St website supporting Adrian's plan.
