Harmsworth Printing has been awarded production of the MK News from LSN Media, with the first 100,000 copies of the weekly paper coming off the presses at its Derby site.
The Milton Keynes weekly was recently named the UK Weekly Newspaper of the Year in the 2008 Newspaper Awards.
Harmsworth printing sales director Ian Cooke said: "LSN Media wants to extend and enhance the MK News with additional supplements and inserts, all of which we can accommodate at their preferred deadlines."
"We have worked with them in the past and are delighted to be working with them again, in particular on a weekly newspaper acknowledged to be the leader in its field."
LSN Media is part of Iliffe News and Media Ltd.
MK News general manager Jonathan Cropley said: "Harmsworth Printing has a good reputation, good production facilities and can provide a little extra in terms of service, as we develop the newspaper. We look forward to working with them."
