Cumberland News owner launches £500,000 property website

CN Group - owner of The Cumberland News - has launched a new £500,000 property website, clickin2.co.uk, featuring thousands of homes throughout Cumbria, Tynedale and the Borders.
Using the latest web technology, the site aims to be the most comprehensive property portal in the region. As well as the traditional property tours, maps and picture galleries, it features vital local information about schools and amenities close to a particular home as well as guides on Home Information Packs and moving house.


PA Photos has been appointed sole UK and Ireland supplier for US picture agency, Landov Media.
The deal brings picture buyers access to Landov's production, plus exclusive CBS studio shots from TV shows like the David Letterman show, backstage access from major entertainment events, and time-sensitive images from the premier business and financial information network, Bloomberg News.


Two national newspaper editors are to join the board of the Press Complaints Commission. Ian MacGregor, editor of the Sunday Telegraph, will join the board immediately to fill the vacancy caused by the retirement of Roger Alton, former editor of the Observer.
Tina Weaver, editor of the Sunday Mirror, will join the Commission shortly.


The London Press Club is holding its annual ball in October in aid of the Journalists' Charity. It takes place at the Natural History Museum on October 15.

A Winchester photographer who regularly took pictures for the Hampshire Chronicle has celebrated his 90th birthday.
Bob Sollars began taking snaps with a Box Brownie camera before joining the Royal Marines during World War Two.
He took pictures for the Hampshire Chronicle, Daily Echo, Winchester Observer and a host of national newspapers during his long career.
