Graduates of a journalism diploma class are organising a 20-year reunion.
Stewart McConnell and Rupert Parker Brady are inviting everyone from the 1988 HND Journalism Studies course at Napier University to meet again in the Scottish capital.
Stewart promises a nostalgic trip down memory lane and possibly the odd sample of local brew.
He said: "Shortly after the Edinburgh Festival took off in August 1988, a talented group of graduated journalists was unleashed from Napier College to an unsuspecting world at the other side of the Firth of Forth.
"Ever since those golden days the very same boys and girls have given the words integrity, undercover journalism and balanced and fair reporting a whole new meaning.
"We may be older and not necessarily wiser but there is a common bond.
"We promise a bonanza of nostalgia that takes you back to shared capital experiences in the mists of time.
"We propose to reconvene in well known places to jog our brain cells, drink some ale and rediscover old haunts in the Old Town which we simply can't forget, spend a night at the Grass Market and enjoy getting together at the castle the next day."

The reunion is planned for September 5 and 6 in Edinburgh and course lecturers are invited to attend as well.
A group has been set up at facebook.com called Napier HND Journalism Studies Class of '88 where old photos, cuttings and memories can be shared.
